Why I Started 208 Web Designs — And Why It Matters for North Idaho Small Businesses
Let me be straight with you right out of the gate — that's kind of my thing.
My name is Kyle, and I've spent the last 10 years building websites and helping businesses grow their online presence. In that time, I've worked with all kinds of clients. But the ones that stick with me most are the ones I see every day around North Idaho — the contractor who's been in business for 15 years and still doesn't have a website, the boutique shop owner who's just linking people to her Facebook page, The new church, the guy running a landscaping crew who figures "word of mouth has always worked, so why bother?"
I get it. I really do. Websites can feel like a foreign language. Digital marketing sounds expensive and complicated. And honestly, the web design industry hasn't done a great job of making any of this feel approachable for regular people just trying to run a business.
That's exactly why I started 208 Web Designs.

Built for North Idaho, By Someone Who Gets It
The 208 isn't just a name — it's a statement. This is for us. For the businesses that make this corner of Idaho worth living in. The coffee shops, the trades, the local retailers, the service businesses that are the backbone of our communities from Coeur d'Alene to Sandpoint to Post Falls and everywhere in between.
I've watched too many great local businesses lose customers simply because someone Googled them, found no website, and moved on to the next result. In 2025, a Facebook page is not a website. It's a starting point — but it's not enough on its own. People want to find you, learn about you, and trust you before they ever pick up the phone. Your online presence is your first impression, and right now a lot of North Idaho businesses aren't making one.
That's not a criticism — it's an opportunity. And I want to help you take it.
What We Do
At 208 Web Designs, we keep things simple and straightforward — just like I'd want someone to do for me.
Website Design — Clean, professional websites that actually represent your business well. No templates that look like everyone else's. No confusing tech jargon. Just a site that works, looks great, and tells your story.
Logo Design — If you don't have a logo yet, or your current one needs a refresh, we can take care of that too. Your brand should look as good as your work.
Google Business Profile Setup — This one is a game changer for local businesses and most people don't even know it exists. When someone searches for what you do in your area, a properly set up Google Business Profile puts you on the map — literally. We'll get yours set up and optimized so you start showing up where it counts.
Social Media Marketing — We can help you show up consistently on the platforms where your customers are spending their time, without it taking over yours.
Digital Marketing — From search visibility to online advertising, we help people find you when they're already looking for what you offer.
Monthly Maintenance Plans — Not interested in managing a website yourself? Good news — you don't have to. We offer simple monthly plans so your site stays updated, secure, and working the way it should while you focus on running your business.
How I Work
I'm a straight shooter. I'm not going to sell you something you don't need, and I'm not going to disappear after the invoice is paid. Customer service isn't a department here — it's the whole job. You'll have my number. You'll get real answers. And if something isn't working, we'll fix it.
I've been doing this for ten years, and the thing I'm most proud of isn't any particular website I've built — it's the relationships I've built with the people behind those businesses. That's what I'm bringing to 208 Web Designs.
Let's Talk
If you've been putting off getting a website, or you're not sure where to start, I'd love to have a conversation. No pressure, no pitch — just an honest talk about where you're at and what might actually help.
